THE SPOT was founded back in 2005 with one thing in mind... to be THE SPOT for everyone! Yes, we know it sounds like a big undertaking, but why not? Why can't we provide phenomenal hand cut steaks and succulent salmon and pasta dishes in our dining room, and then turn right around and in the Second Story Basement Bar have a completely different feel with big juicy burgers and overflowing nachos to appeal to the sports fan in everyone? And then why can't we turn that Sports Bar into a performance area to showcase and highlight some of Chicagoland's best local theater, burlesque, improv, sketch, standup, and cabaret groups?
Then right next to that why cant we have a THIRD bar that exists just to appeal to those looking for a late night lounge feel or looking to book a private party? Well we couldn't figure out a reason as to why not, so we just did! And it's been working out ever since. Haven't been here yet? What are you waiting for?
